“The Role of Due Diligence in Getting a Deal Done…or Not”

Following the acquisition of Priority Healthcare Corporation by Express Scripts, (ESI) Inc. in October 2005, Thad became vice president of marketing for CuraScript, Inc., ESI’s Orlando-based specialty pharmacy subsidiary.  Thad served as vice president of corporate development at Priority Healthcare and was intimately involved in the acquisition process and will shed light on the importance of due diligence to both sides in a transaction of this or any size.  The $1.3 billion purchase represented the largest acquisition made to date by Express Scripts, which now has more than 13,000 employees generating over $17 billion in revenue.
