Rev up your keyboards and put that business
concept in print! This
is an exclusive event granting TiE Members the chance
to finesse their elevator pitches and present their business
plan to venture capitalists, angel investors, industry
experts, and a supportive audience of entrepreneurs for
frank and immediate feedback regarding their business
ideas. Participation may potentially lead to opportunities
for funding. Winners will receive a package of valuable
legal, financial and marketing services from TiE Florida sponsors
and friends, as well as immediate acceptance in the TiE Florida
Mentorship Program to be launched by early winter. Non-members
are invited to participate as part of a supportive audience,
and will gain insight into the process of pitching and securing
funding. Attendees will all have the opportunity
to network with others interested in new ideas and start-up
ventures.
Competitive Criteria

Presenters must be TiE Members in good standing
to be eligible to compete.

The event is geared toward seed or early
stage companies

The plan must be an original idea or concept

Participating companies must be in operation
for less than 2 years as a legal entity or demonstrate a
significant improvement for an existing business
