(Orlando, FL) – Celebrate the spirit of small businesses
at the Entrepreneur Fair hosted by the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur
Center (NEC) on Tuesday, August 1, 2006. The event commemorates
the third anniversary of the NEC and will include free seminars
in English and Spanish tailored for small and growing businesses
and a vendor showcase followed by a networking reception. Richard
T. Crotty, Orange County mayor, will participate in the special
cake-cutting celebration.
"The Disney SBA National Entrepreneur Center has become
the hub for entrepreneurial networking in Central Florida and
as we celebrate our third anniversary, we recommit ourselves
to the mission of this organization to be a ‘leading catalyst
for entrepreneurial growth and success’. I commend the
partners, sponsors and service providers for a
job well done and wish the best for the future, " said Mayor
Crotty.
The Entrepreneur Fair is co-sponsored by the Orlando Business
Journal, and Gold Level sponsors include: Maverick Magazine,
Nimlok Orlando and Perceptive Technologies.
The event will take place at the NEC office, located in downtown
Orlando at One Landmark Center, 315 E. Robinson Street, Suite
100. The timeline for the program is as follows:
- Free seminars: 1pm – 4:45pm
- Vendor showcase: 4:45pm – 5:45pm
- Networking reception: 5:45pm - 7:45pm.
Silver level event sponsors include: Mydea Technologies,
Technologies To Be, Inc., and Triangle Reprographics. All seminars
offered are complimentary, but advanced registration is required
by July 19.

After the seminars, a vendor showcase will be
held to highlight useful products and services offered by some
of Central Florida’s
top vendors, specializing in meeting the needs of small businesses.
Door prizes will also be given from supporters of the event.

Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center (NEC)
