The Joust™ – UCF’s 3rd Annual Business Plan Tournament
Awards Thousands of Dollars to Aspiring Entrepreneurs

WHO:  University of Central Florida Technological Entrepreneurship Center

WHAT:  The Joust is a university-wide business plan competition at UCF.  The competition is open to students of all colleges and disciplines and may include faculty, alumni and community entrepreneurs. 

WHEN:  April 13-14, 2006

WHERE:  University of Central Florida – Student Union

DETAILS:  All teams have a chance to refine their presentation skills and attract investors from among the judges, which include seasoned entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and executives from an array of entrepreneurial organizations in the local community.

TECHNOLOGICAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER:

The Technological Entrepreneurship Center seeks to provide educational opportunities to potential entrepreneurs, inventors, and small business employees.  The organization facilitates academic research related to new venture creation and success.  The goal is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship throughout the university and provide a context where members of the business and academic communities can explore their mutual interests. For more information visit www.tec.ucf.edu.
