Orlando, Fla. (November 20, 2002)—The UCF Technology Incubator, which nurtures more than 30 startup technology companies in Central Florida, has appointed veteran management specialist Julie Matthews as site administrator at the Center for Entrepreneurship, located at 36 West Pine St. in downtown Orlando.
Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of the UCF Technology Incubator, said Matthews holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Valencia Community College specializing in small business management and has ten years of experience in management and office administration.
"Julie Matthews is an exceptional administrator with a solid background in small business administration," Dykes said, adding "She coordinates our downtown activities, conducts community outreach initiatives and serves the needs of our downtown clients."
