Orlando, Fla. (December 4, 2002)—Infinite Applications, a custom information automation company that focuses on automation systems and engineering design, has joined the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator, whose client companies expect to generate more than $100 million this year in technology sales and research and development.
Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of the UCF Technology Incubator, said Infinite Applications is just the sort of up and coming technology company the incubator hopes to attract. "Since we began, we have served more than 30 technology companies with more than 400 jobs in laser development, photonics, simulation products, advances materials, electronics and energy related technologies," Dykes said. Infinite Applications chief executive officer Aaron Knight said automation technology is a burgeoning industry. "We joined the UCF Technology Incubator for access to a unique mix of defense, simulation, gaming and entertainment interests who form a substantial technology community," Knight said. "We want to be a big part of it," added his partner, Ed Tajuden.
Dykes said three information technology firms graduated recently including Alinean, Netlander and psiloQuest.
