World-Renowned Cconsultant to Conduct Series of Entrepreneur Seminars for Technology Executives
Orlando, Fla. (January 8, 2003) - The University of Central Florida Technology Incubator, which serves more than 30 emerging technology firms that have generated over 400 new jobs and approximately $100 million in revenues from sales and research and development grants, has appointed John Spence, an internationally renowned management consultant, as Executive-in-Residence.
Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of UCF's Technology Incubator, said Spence is the former executive director of the Rockefeller Foundation and author of the book, "Excellence by Design - Leadership."
Dykes said Spence plans to present a series of seminars at UCF that are aimed at technology company-executives worldwide. "The UCF Technology Incubator is hosting a series of four seminars this year for technology executives," said Dykes. The next seminar is scheduled on February 19.
Spence will present seminars on leadership, communications, team building and strategic planning, Dykes added. "John Spence is one of the International superstars of entrepreneurial management in the technology industry," said Dykes. We are delighted to have him here," she added.
