UCF Technology Incubator Hosts Communications Seminar for Budding Technology Entrepreneurs

Orlando, Fla. (February 3, 2003) - The University of Central Florida Technology Incubator will host a half-day entrepreneurial training seminar on communications skills Feb. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The seminar is open to the public, said Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of the UCF Technology Incubator.

John Spence, executive in residence at the Technology Incubator, will present the seminar. Spence is a world-renowned consultant who provides management consulting and executive training to Fortune 500 companies, Dykes said.

This seminar was created to give people real-world solutions for dealing with all the people we confront each day," said Dykes. "It is one of the most popular seminars Spence has delivered to such clients as the U.S. Navy, Merrill-Lynch and Pepsi," she said.

Dykes said the seminar is open to the public and admission is only $5 due to supporting sponsors. The seminar will be held in Classroom A and B at the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training in the Central Florida Research Park.
