Three New Companies Join University of Central Florida Technology Incubator

Orlando, Fla. (February 6, 2003) - Three new emerging technology firms have joined the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator at Central Research Park in east Orlando.

Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of the UCF Technology Incubator, said the new firms are Wolf Consulting, CDNetBox, Inc. and Digital Ribbon, Inc.

"Wolf Consulting developed the patented CyberShield software for detection of unauthorized intrusions," said Dykes.

"CDNetBox has a patent pending for their unique process of distributing electronic information. Digital Ribbon provides supercomputing solutions for biotech, engineering and animation industries through in-house and dedicated grid computing," she added.

The UCF Technology incubator now serves 32 emerging technology companies that have generated more than 400 jobs in central Florida and over $100 million in revenues from sales and research and development grants.
