University of Central Florida Technology Incubator Firm CEO Wins Major Award

Orlando, Fla. (May 3, 2003) - The chief executive officer of a University of Central Florida Technology Incubator firm has won a major award. Carol Ann Dykes, associate administrator of the UCF Technology Incubator, said Bob Pollack, M.D., chief executive officer of Vshift Technologies, Inc., was recently honored by the Central Florida Health Care Coalition with the Quality Achievement Award. Pollack was recently named Chief Medical Information Officer for the coalition as well, Dykes said.

"Bob Pollack is one of the outstanding technology innovators in Central Florida who are helping to change the way the world does business particularly in health care," said Dykes. Pollack was recently selected as a principal speaker at the 11th Annual National Conference of Health Care Coalitions, slated for Orlando in February 2004.
