Orlando, Fla. - (June 26, 2003)—Carol Ann Dykes, associate director of the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator, will take the guest "hot seat" on Small Business Hotline, airing on WCEU-TV, the public broadcast facility that is part of Daytona Beach Community College.
Dykes' segment will air at 7:30 p.m. on July 10, with a repeat showing on July 12 at 4:30 p.m. Dykes will comment on how small business owners move from ideas to startups to market growth. She will also offer advice on protecting ideas through patents, trademarks and other means. Viewers are encouraged to call the show with questions for Dykes.
Dykes said her appearance is part of the UCF Technology Incubator's outreach program to raise awareness among community residents and also among technology innovators.
