Orlando, Fla. - (July 7, 2003)—Nine University of Central Florida Technology Incubator companies have moved into a new location for the Downtown Incubator that opened in the Angebilt building at 37 North Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando. The previous location for the Incubator was at capacity with its four tenants and additional space was needed to accommodate new and existing, growing tenants.
Carol Ann Dykes, managing director of the UCF Technology Incubator, said the Downtown Incubator is a prime location for emerging technology companies. Demand has been so high that the new facility is nearly full.
Dykes said she may soon need to start negotiations with the building owner to expand the UCF Technology Incubator's 4000-square-foot facility.
