Orlando, Fla. (September 17, 2003) - Five new firms have joined the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator program, bringing the total number of member firms to just over 45.
"We are thrilled at the level of interest and the resulting number of new clients," said Carol Ann Dykes, Chief Operating Officer of the UCF Technology Incubator. "Our constant influx of inquiries and tenants shows that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well, despite the economic challenges of the past few years."
Tom O'Neal, Chief Executive Officer of the Incubator added that the steady entrepreneurial activity validates the need for such a strong, community-supported Incubation program in Central Florida.

Ascendovations delivers quality innovative real-time solutions for marketing, sales, production lines and customer service allowing clients to increase customer value and maximize return on relationships.
Burns Engineering develops laser radar systems used for military weapons systems, aerial mapping, security systems and unmanned vehicle guidance.
Midera Solutions is developing an affordable Web creation suite that will offer the ability for anyone to create, manage and communicate with efficiency and ease.
Sensors World manufactures non-invasive sensors that remotely monitor Vitally Important Physiological Parameters (VIPPs) such as body temperature and pulse rate to help doctors, families or other health care providers gauge relative health. The projected worldwide market for such devices is more than $3 billion.
