Orlando, Fla. (January 30, 2004) - 312, Inc., a software development company focused on peer-to-peer data replication, backup and information management, today announced it has hired former ITT Fluid Technology / Motion Flow Control Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Andrew Kiolbasa to lead operations. Kiolbasa represents the company's first executive-level hire since the company consolidated its operations in Central Florida.
312, Inc.'s CEO, Brian Neilson said "Mr. Kiolbasa brings more than 20 years of solid business experience, including a strong background in product development, business process and operations. This combination of experience is invaluable to our company at this early stage."
Kiolbasa gained valuable strategic and tactical experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Quality processes during his 13 year tenure with ITT. He was awarded the prestigious ITT Ring of Quality Award in 2001. Prior to ITT, Mr. Kiolbasa was with Playboy Enterprises Inc. for 5 years as a senior accountant in corporate finance and 2 years in accounting and marketing with Omega Microware, a software development company.
As 312's Chief Operating Officer, Kiolbasa will lead product development, business process/quality, and marketing. "After years of evaluating and beta testing countless applications for home and internal corporate use, learning of Three Twelve's ethics, customer focus and mission to eliminate the pain of lost information and lost time due to technological failure and frustration made joining 312 an opportunity I couldn't resist" Kiolbasa explained.
"Mr. Kiolbasa's experience speaks for itself and I have no doubt that he will be an asset to 312, Inc.'s management team," said Tom O'Neal, chief executive officer of the UCF Technology Incubator. "This announcement underscores the quality of companies that are coming to Central Florida and to the Incubator to grow their businesses."
