Orlando, Fla. - America's homeland security effort will get a big boost soon from Tech Solutions, Inc., a University of Central Florida Technology Incubator company.
Dr. Pamela McCauley-Bell, president and chief executive officer of Tech Solutions, said the technology firm recently won a $40,000 contract to develop a state-of-the-art computer based instruction resources for the Federal Aviation Administration.
According to Tech Solutions chief operating officer, Dr. Mark Waltensperger, the initial project, will last four months and is expected to generate ongoing work for Tech Solutions.
"Development of these computer-based training materials will provide consistently available, high quality training resources while enhancing the FAA's homeland security efforts," McCauley-Bell said.
"The UCF Technology Incubator was the catalyst that led to a partnership between Tech Solutions and Certo Interactive, another UCF Technology Incubator member," he added.
"We're putting our experience in training development and delivery together with the computer-based training development experience at Certo Interactive," said McCauley-Bell. "We've found a winning partnership that should make significant contributions to national security and airline safety," she said.
