Orlando, Fla. --- July 12, 2004… RealSims LLC, a University of Central Florida Technology Incubator client that specializes in development of flight simulation technology for government and commercial customers, has launched a new field-deployable flight training simulator module that can be transported, set up and operational within days - practically anywhere in the world.
Robert McGraw, president of RealSims, LLC, said the new self-propelled and self-contained module is housed in a rugged vehicle that provides comfortable living quarters for the instructor crew along with a large FasTrac Flight Training Simulator bay that can be configured to the individual needs of the customer.
Those needs might range from rotary or fixed-wing aircraft to heavy construction equipment or a control console for Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs), which have seen heavy use in Afghanistan and Iraq and may be deployed along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"We have a large market of municipal and state government agencies for search and rescue training, as well as military flight training and Homeland Security uses," McGraw said.
