Learn to Learn to Launch Web-based Program That Can Teach Anyone to Learn like a Scholar

Orlando, Fla. --- Learn to Learn will soon launch a web-based program that can teach anyone to learn like a scholar — for just $59.95. James Fadigan, Ph.D., president of Learn to Learn, Inc., said LearnToLearn.com has been more than 12 years in the making.

“For 12 years we have been researching and developing the models by which human beings improve their ability to learn concepts and skills,” said Dr. Fadigan. “We have developed a tool that has been extensively tested in schools and universities nationwide with rather impressive success. It includes testing, evaluation and cognitive skills-enhancing exercises that can substantially improve the abilities of virtually anyone, at any age, to learn more efficiently, and to learn a wider scope of concepts and skills,” Fadigan said.

Learn to Learn, a University of Central Florida Technology Incubator client, began converting its programs to software format 18 months ago, Fadigan said. The web site, which is totally self-operated, should be ready to launch by late October, 2004.

“Our goal was to develop an affordable, understandable program that anyone can use to improve learning abilities.” Dr. Fadigan said. “An honors science student at the university level or a fifth-grader at a local public school can both substantially improve their ability to learn by using our program,” he said.

LearnToLearn.com utilizes a combination of testing tools to determine if one’s cognitive skills are fully developed or remain underdeveloped. An online Test Of Multiple Intelligences (TOMI) measures proficiency in 14 different critical learning areas, Dr. Fadigan said.

“Our goal is to find and fix the learning problems,” Dr. Fadigan said. “We can identify which brain functions and intelligences are fully developed and those that are not fully developed and not operating efficiently. Once the learning problems are identified, we can stimulate those areas through learning exercises so that the user can improve their underdeveloped intelligences and function at their full potential. In most cases, this can be accomplished within three to six months. And our research has shown that users keep getting better and better over time.”

Their site, www.LearnToLearn.com will offer its program for a one-time cost of $59.95 and the firm will even provide an easy payment plan, according to Dr. Fadigan.

“The potential market for this system is almost universal,” Dr. Fadigan observed. “Literally anyone can benefit by it, “ he said.

The company has offices at the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator, as well as in Windermere, FL., Atlanta, GA., and St. Louis, MO.
