SearchEvents, Inc. wins major contract with Rollins College

Orlando, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2005) --- SearchEvents, Inc., which provides online ticketing and reservations services for entertainment, cultural and sporting events, recently won a major contract to provide online ticketing for performances at the Annie Russell Theatre at Rollins College. The firm recently joined the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator.

Patrick Shea, chief executive officer of SearchEvents said the firm is already working with seven clients from Florida to Montana. He said he is delighted to secure the Rollins College partnership.

“Internet sales is something we find essential to keep up with the times,” said Scottie Campbell, audience services administrator for Rollins’ Annie Russell Theatre . “SearchEvents made this possible and affordable. We looked into purchasing our own software but it was not feasible,” Campbell said.

Shea said his firm can offer a client almost instant online ticketing at an affordable, reliable rate that benefits them and their customers. “All the client needs is to provide its potential customers with their own web address or ours, www.searchevents.com,” said Shea.

Ticket sales for Annie Russell Theatre will go online September 12 th.

“We handle the entire sale and fulfillment process over secure links for the event producer, and we can provide limited services, such as sales of certain blocks of tickets for venues that aren’t ready to change their entire ticket sales process but want to establish online ticketing,” Shea said.

One of the firm’s innovations is to provide ticket buyers with online views of a venue stage from the seat the buyer is considering, Shea said.
