Orlando, Fla. (Sept. 9, 2005) – The University of Central
Florida College of Business Administration and the UCF Technology
Incubator are once again offering Excellence in Entrepreneurship,
the popular certificate course, beginning Tuesday, October 18.
Course topics include strategic focus, building the venture team,
marketing and sales, funding and finance, and entrepreneurial skills.
Taught by entrepreneurs, professional practitioners such as lawyers
and accountants and members of the UCF faculty, the course is a
required element of the Incubator’s application process,
but is open to any entrepreneur looking to gain the knowledge and
resources necessary to successfully plan and start a business.
Feedback from previous participants have validated the value of
the course. Comments include: “This course helped us focus
on who we really are and what place our company occupies in the
marketplace.” and “Now I understand what an elevator
speech is and how to write my business plan.”
When: Tuesday and Thursdays – 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
October 18 – November 8, 2005

company; enrollment is limited to the first 22 registrants.
