Orlando, Fla., (May 26, 2005) - The Florida Business Incubation
Association (FBIA) will hold its annual conference in Orlando,
June 2-3, at the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center (NEC),
located on East Robinson Street in downtown Orlando.
Dr. Tom O'Neal, Chairman of the FBIA and Chief Executive Officer
of the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator, said
some 60 representatives of various incubators and economic development
organizations throughout the state will be present at the two-day
event.
Conference topics will include incubation trends, marketing, management,
and funding.
"Incubators are an important tool for economic development that
more and more communities are turning to. The FBIA is building
a statewide network to share our experiences and be a voice for
the industry." O'Neal said.
