Orlando, Fla. --- The University of Central Florida Technology
Incubator is please to announce the addition of David E. Reap
to the Incubator’s team as its newest Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
Entrepreneurs-in-Residence are individuals with extensive experience
in starting and growing technology companies who volunteer to
spend several days a month advising and mentoring UCFTI clients.
Tom O’Neal, chief executive officer of the University of
Central Florida Technology Incubator, said Reap will prove a valuable
resource for the more than 50 emerging technology companies affiliated
with the UCF Technology Incubator.
“David Reap has more than 15 years of experience in sales,
marketing, finance and operations of technology companies, including
product-based technology and services,” O’Neal said.
Reap is currently on assignment with Productivity Apex, Inc., a
UCF Technology Incubator company. From 2003-2005, he was CEO of
CrossRidge, a strategic marketing and creative services company
that helped entrepreneurs drive sales and raise value. He was formerly
on the Board of Directors of Orlando-based Starnet International
Corp., a multi-million dollar manufacturer of aluminum space frames,
which was acquired by Conservatek Industries. He is a current appointee
to the Orange County Community Development Advisory Board.
“I am excited about being selected by UCFTI to help further
its mission of creating financially successful, high growth technology
companies,” said Reap. “I am looking forward to helping
the entrepreneurs in the Incubator grow their businesses through
deployment of targeted marketing strategies.”
Reap is a graduate of Purdue University.
