Sanford, Fla., Jan. xx, 2006 --- Digital Persuasion (DP) will
be the music and messaging provider for the “Store of the
Future” hosted by the National Retail Federation (NRF) at
the 95th Annual Convention and EXPO in the Jacob Javits Center
in New York City, January 15 – 18, 2006. Digital Persuasion
is a member of the Seminole Technology Business Incubation Center
(STBIC) in Sanford.
John DiMercurio, principal at Digital Persuasion, stated the NRF’s “Store
of the Future” highlights the latest systems, products and
services for retailers. The first NRF “Store of the Future” exhibit
was unveiled in 2005 and was visited by more than 10,000 retail
executives from around the world. Industry leaders from the top
retailers will attend X06 to find the most innovative systems,
products and services to help them retain their edge in the marketplace.
The NRF has the world’s leading tech companies like IBM,
Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Intel and more joining Digital Persuasion
to showcase how their technology can work for the overall customer
experience. This is a world class initiative being shown to executives
from every segment of the retail market.!
“It was an honor to be invited. The opportunity to network
with executives from the nation’s top retailers is exciting.
NRF’s ‘Store of the Future’ is a great way for
retailers to learn how Digital Persuasion can partner with their
business and affect their bottom line.” stated DiMercurio.
Digital Persuasion partners with retailers to create a customized,
in-store radio network with music and messaging to influence customers
in the red zone. A 2005 Arbitron survey shows that 40% of shoppers
who heard in-store advertisements made an unplanned purchase. Digital
Persuasion’s fast and flexible innovative technology can
help retailers quickly respond to market demand, gain market share,
reduce costs and create a profit center through a private in-store
radio network.
“With DP technology retailers can program the music (anything
from Tejano to Hip Hop) and
choose the messaging or corporate branding to play at any time
interval that suits the unit or their business. This speed and
flexibility of customization at a retailer's fingertips is unheard
of in the industry. We can’t wait to showcase our capabilities.” DiMercurio
said.
