(October 4, 2007) Orlando, Florida-based Knockout Digital Media capitalizes on
the live Internet television (IPTV) revolution by using NewTek TriCaster to web
stream live coverage of College Game Day and Monday Night Football events across
the nation.
Gridiron fans are able to watch all of the action online at ESPNradio.com and
view in-progress ESPN’s pre-game shows, now through the end of the football
season.
NewTek TriCaster allows Gil Chavez, president Knockout Digital Media to live
switch several component cameras, rolling in edited video, overlay titles, images,
external computer displays and live web pages with simultaneous output to video,
projector and the Internet.
“This technology is really exciting,” explains Chavez. “Before
TriCaster, we needed a big news truck, lots of equipment and a big budget.” With
the advent of TriCaster PRO, Chavez says it’s now affordable and much easier
to bring all of the excitement and passion on site to millions of Internet viewers. “The
fans can now see it, feel it and taste it - whether they are at home, in the
office or on their cell phone- that’s really cool!”
TriCaster’s features and performance make it a formidable tool for professional
broadcasters, its size and moderate cost extend its usefulness to any organization
(sports, education, corporate, worship group) that wants to reach its audiences
over the Internet with professional multi-camera live video.
