partners and looking to expand upon its venue offerings

and acquisition of angel investments, which the company
is actively pursuing. In addition to Mark as CEO,
the company was co-founded by local entrepreneur David
Krinker who serves as iConvene’s Chairman.
Karen Whitaker is Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
An expert in planning, development and execution of
corporate events, Karen has more than 25 years experience.
Her wealth of knowledge and understanding of the meeting
planning space has been influential in the development
of the iConvene online marketplace.
D.J. French is the most recent addition to the iConvene
team as Sales Manager, to enroll and oversee the relationship
with its service providers. Through his experience
with Maison & Jardin and Church Street Station
for convention sales, marketing management and meeting
planning, he has earned a reputation for consistently
exceeding goals and customer expectations.
Rounding out the management team is Carlos Sanchez,
Director of Engineering, who has a long history of
leading web development teams at Pioneer Technology
Group and Sales and Marketing Technologies.
In addition, iConvene is in the University of Central
Florida Incubator program. The Incubator helps
iConvene through its network of experienced entrepreneurs,
professional service providers, economic development
partners, small business service providers, university
experts and a dedicated staff.
