ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. xx, 2008) – Media Marshal, a premier on-demand and real-time video solutions
company offering a turnkey video content management solution, has established an Orlando office. Since establishing the company’s marketing and sales
operations in Orlando in August, Media Marshall has hired 8 employees to deploy it’s products.
Media Marshal’s first product - Lasso™ - is the initial product in it’s Corral Suite™. Lasso™ is
an innovative, powerful do-it-yourself tool with an easy-to-use graphical interface that allows marketers in any organization to publish,
secure, monetize, distribute and track their videos and rich media with a click of a mouse.
Media Marshal also has introduced its Web 2.0 tools, TeleVidget™ and MiniTV™, which enable marketing professionals to distribute
video and rich media to the desktop and virally throughout the Internet to Web destinations, blogs, and social utilities like MySpace and
Facebook.
Media Marshal is targeting the underserved needs in three key verticals - corporate, medical, and higher education organizations, according
to Cherie Connolly, Media Marshall’s vice president of sales and marketing.
“The education system formulated during the industrial revolution focused on one teacher and many students. In the information
age a far superior model is emerging with one student and many teachers,” said Media Marshal CEO Dr. Naiyer Imam.
In higher education today, interactive video, rich media, large documents, and other educational resources can be physically concentrated
in one location but can be shared and exchanged electronically across many locations. This creates significant economies of scale and exciting
opportunities for collaborative learning in an interactive and virtual environment.
In the medical sector, medical companies and healthcare providers are pioneers in distance learning and are leveraging advances in telecommunications
and high speed Internet to bring highly skilled doctors closer to patients wherever they are in the world. The full suite of Media
Marshal products, Corral Suite™, is being leveraged by leading healthcare institutions to further improve quality of care and resulting
outcomes through the delivery of high quality video.
In the corporate sector, enterprises are assessing new ways to use media to communicate with and educate their employees. Media and
entertainment companies are using the Web to entertain and inform their users and better market their products and services.
Media Marshal is a client of the UCF Incubation Program at the UCF Technology Incubator in the Central Florida Research Park. In addition,
the company has a development center in India and regional sales offices throughout the U.S.
