KICKgen.Com names World Champion Martial Arts Competitor Lauren Kearney Marketing and Business Development Lead

 

Orlando,FL (October 21, 2008) -  KICKgen.com, the popular Orlando-based web community devoted to martial arts training and competition, has appointed World Champion martial arts competitor Lauren Kearney marketing and business development lead.
           
Tracy McCoy, chief operating officer at KICKgen.com, said Kearney is a 24-time World Weapons and Forms Champion who recently won the ISKA World Championship in Forms at the 2007 US Open International competition in Orlando.
           
Kearney earned her B.S. Degree in Exercise Science from Florida Atlantic University and is currently studying for her MBA Degree, McCoy said. She has been studying Kenpo Karate for more than 18 years and currently holds a Second Degree Black Belt.
           
McCoy said Kearney is a member of Team Paul Mitchell and coaches the Premier Martial Arts National Karate Team.
           
“Lauren Kearney is one of the world’s most electrifying and widely respected martial arts competitors,” McCoy said. “She is also a savvy businesswoman and we expect her to play a big role in our growth,” McCoy added.
