ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2009) --- Orlando-based 360 Software Corporation has won a major contract to provide engineering products
and services to government agencies.
Gus Perez-Poveda, chief executive officer of 360 Software Corporation, said his firm was recently awarded a prime contract under the indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Seaport-e vehicle to support the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. 360 Software is a certified
SBA 8(a) firm, allowing the company to pursue any task order released under Seaport-e, including small business, small disadvantaged business,
and 8(a) set-asides.
Poveda said 360 Software, which specializes in the development of software-intensive systems for the defense and aerospace industries,
has served as a subcontractor on numerous Department of Defense programs.
“The prime contractor notification designates 360 Software as one of nearly 1,600 prime contractors nationwide, in 22 functional areas of support,
who can submit proposals for Navy and Marine Corps projects,” said Poveda. “It represents a major expansion of our role and we have worked
hard to achieve it,” he said.
360 Software will provide products and services in the areas of Research and Development support; Engineering Systems; Modeling, Simulation
and Analysis; Software Engineering; Information System development; and Measurement Facilities, Range and Instrumentation support.
