Orlando, FL, January 29, 2009 – Acredo Technologies announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Internet
Telephony Magazine has named Acredo's premier hosted Internet phone system for business, BASIX™, as a recipient of its 2008 Product
of the Year Award. Each year TMC selects Internet telephony products based on their uniqueness and innovative application for this
award.
The award was based on a case study of NewPoint Schools, an Acredo customer. NewPoint is a system of charter schools that
offer a unique college preparatory education through use of state-of-the-art technology. The Panama City campus became a BASIX™ subscriber
before the 2008 school year. Their success in bringing VoIP to the classroom, and their satisfaction with the level of service Acredo
