BDG Construction Opens Splash Playground at Trotwood Park in Winter Springs

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (May 11, 2009) --- BDG Construction opened the Splash Playground at Trotwood Park on Northern Way in Winter Springs recently.

Kevin Guffee, a principal at BDG Construction Services, said the Splash Playground at Trotwood Park cost an estimated $425,115 and includes 15 water features and unique fog system, a new pump building which houses the splash pad equipment, an expanded restroom and storage facility and a new park pavilion.

Jay Brown, PE, principal at BDG Construction, said the firm builds and renovates commercial facilities throughout the U.S. Recent clients include Wal-Mart stores of Bentonville, Ark. Jones Lang LaSalle of Orlando. Things Remembered stores of Highland Heights, Ohio, and RP Realty Partners headquartered in Beverly Hills, Calif.

BDG Construction is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation program located in Seminole County/Winter Springs.

The UCF/Seminole County/Winter Springs Business Incubator opened its doors in early 2008 to serve high growth startups in Seminole County. The incubator is a partnership between UCF, Seminole County Government, the City of Winter Springs and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council.
