WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (March, 19, 2010)--- NR Electronics, LLC, the Winter Springs firm that adds value and distributes electronic components throughout the world, was recently certified as a U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program Participant, which makes the firm eligible to participate in a wide range of 8(a) federal government contracts.
Liza Ordonez, managing director of NR Electronics, said the SBA 8(a) certification is an incentive program available to small business enterprises that are owned by socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
The limited-time certification helps minority businesses reach their business goals, Ordonez said. NR Electronics will graduate from the SBA 8(a) program in nine years.
NR Electronics is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located at the Seminole County/Winter Springs Incubator on E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs.
