City of Apopka, UCF officials to open Business Incubator in Apopka April 18

APOPKA, Fla.   --- The City of Apopka and the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program will officially open the UCF Business Incubator in Apopka Wednesday, April 18 at 325 S. McGee Ave. in Apopka.

Gordon Hogan, director of the UCF Business Incubation Program, said the event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m.

Hogan said the 8,000 square foot facility has three new companies that will open their operations on April 18.

Apopka Business Incubator Site Manager Rick Parks said at least five more client companies will open there this year.

“The UCF Business Incubator in Apopka is designed to attract promising startup companies that will generate new jobs and new economic activity in Apopka and its area,” Hogan said.

The UCF Business Incubation Program operates facilities in Orlando at Central Florida Research Park and on E. Colonial Drive, and in Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Daytona Beach, Sanford, Winter Springs and Leesburg.
