WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (June 2, 2012) --- Fidelity Security Agency LLC in Winter Springs was recently designated a Program Training Site by the American Heart Association.
Michael Williams, president and chief executive officer of Fidelity Security Agency, said the agency’s Program Training Site designation qualifies it to offer American Heart Certified Heartsaver® First Aid, Heartsaver® AED and CPR, and Basic Life Support training for healthcare providers.
Training will be provided by Lotoya Williams, R.N., B.S.N. Mrs. Williams is certified as an instructor by the American Heart Association.
“Our Program Training Site designation gives us a tremendous opportunity to offer a much needed specialized service,” Williams said. “The American Heart Association strictly regulates the number of training sites within a given vicinity, and private businesses are rarely accorded the designation,” he said.
Williams said Fidelity Security Agency will offer training sessions for classes of four to eight people that will range from two to five hours depending on the training program sought.
“Through this certification, we are now able to better equip and provide training to specific occupations and job specialties such as security personnel, camp counselors, police and firefighters, teachers and day care workers, fitness workers, nurses, doctors, medical professionals, lifeguards, athletic professionals, referees, and lay people,” Williams explained.
Williams said health care training is an important part of Fidelity Security Agency’s mission.
“We have an excellent training facility with the resources to successfully administer a wide range of training programs,” Williams said. “We also have a very competent instructor with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the health care industry.”
Williams said training classes will begin this summer.
